MD-1750 | THE BIGGEST, FASTEST AND MOST POWERFUL DYNO ON THE MARKET.
Our facility houses a MustangMD-1750SE load-bearing chassis dynamometer. The MD-1750 has the largest set of rollers in the industry at 50-inches. The 1750 Series is designed for customers whose horsepower testing requirements and drag racing slick tires require a larger, tire-friendly roller configuration. With our SE eddy current option, the MD- 1750 is capable of properly loading and testing high hp cars up to large diesel trucks without worrying about tire slippage.
With a maximum speed of 250 mph, and a horsepower measurement rating of 3,500-hp, the MD-1750 is by far the fastest and most powerful dynamometer available in its class. The single eddy current power absorption feature allows for “steady state” testing at various speed and torque outputs, making the MD-1750 the ultimate high-performance dynamometer.
The MD-1750’s inertia-based testing capability provides a practical and efficient method to gauge vehicle performance. Inertia-based performance testing involves accelerating a mass with a known inertia at wide-open throttle. In the case of the1750, the inertia composed of a pair of 50” diameter rollers act as the road-load mechanism. The rate at which the vehicle can accelerate the rollers determines the amount of energy being transferred from the tires to the surface of the rolls. Speed and torque combined are used to calculate actual horsepower at the wheels. This data is then plotted against time, rpm, or speed to produce invaluable graphical representations of the vehicle’s power curves. Our database keeps track of testing records for future baseline test comparisons.
Mustang’s eddy current power absorption features enable the system to test vehicles at variable throttle positions, speeds, and torque outputs. The torque value read from the load cell is combined with roll-speed to calculate the exact force being applied at the vehicle’s wheels. Unlike friction-type load control devices offered by competing manufacturers, our eddy current absorbers and advanced closed-loop computer control system enable the user to carefully control the road load applied to the vehicle under test by increments of horsepower or torque.
We also utilize Mustang Dyno’s HO Engine Cooling Fan. Mustang’s engine cooling fan generates sufficient air flow to simulate on road conditions for engine cooling purposes. The premium engine cooling fan generates up to 30,000 CFM.
At the rear…We utilize dual 24 Inch Deluxe Cooling Fans with 10,000 CFM worth of Ventilation for safety and performance. This allows for heat extraction as well as removal of exhaust fumes and gases that can be harmful to Dyno workers, Customers and Tuning.
Our electronics also allow for datalogging of analog sensors (including boost), engine RPM, vehicle speed, air/fuel ratio, OBD-II parameters, and more.
We can handle street and race vehicles up to 3500hp. Two-wheel drive vehicles with either front or rear wheel drive can be accommodated.
Come to MMR & get a custom dyno tune/street tune made just for your vehicle!
It is easy for a tuner to get a car to drive full throttle down a track but it's a completely different beast to get a vehicle to perform on both the track & picking up your kids after school then heading to the grocery store. Here at MMR we have perfected tuning after 30 years of experience. Every day we strive to better ourselves. We offer custom tuning for Fords, Chevrolets & MOPAR.
All tunes are lifetime tunes (as long as you own the vehicle). Any re-tunes will just be dyno time ($150/hr) & it typically takes us 1-2 hrs to complete the process.
Any off the dyno changes are free. This include tire size changes, shift point changes, or any other changes that do not require your vehicle to be put back on the dyno.
We stay incredibly busy year round between running the shop, filming and getting to the races. With that being said, we will do our best to fit you in on the schedule at the soonest possible date.
We charge a $150 deposit to get scheduled on the dyno but it's not a fee. It will go towards your dyno time and or tune price. Just call us at 210-257-8910 to schedule your dyno time and tune today!
If you have any questions or want to book an appointment, please contact us through social media messages or "Murillo5oh@gmail.com" or call us at 210-257-8910
